Friendly Neighbors :)

I'm not a very sociable person, but I put it upon myself to actually socialize with the upstairs neighbor today. They have a little girl and a puppy. They allowed me to photograph them, which made me very happy because I was super board and I am never happier than when I have my camera in my hand. :) So here are a few photo's that I took. :)

Orange Chicken and a Banana Dessert

So, I tried a new dinner out tonight, along with a dessert. Orange Chicken and a yummy banana dessert.

For the orange chicken I was lazy and got some rice to go with it that you just pop in the microwave for a minute. As for the orange chicken I made the orange sauce from water, juice and zest of one orange, lemon juice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes/cayenne pepper, and cornstarch. For the chicken I just got some chicken nuggets that can be heated up in the oven. Mix everything for the orange chicken together. Heat on stove and let simmer. Heat the chicken up. Cook the rice. So after they are both done being made you just combine the two! :)

Now the banana dessert! You need bananas, honey, brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and butter. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Add the brown sugar. Fry the banana. Put on plate. Add ice cream. Add honey. Add chocolate syrup. Enjoy!

An Adventure with Shylo!

Sunday, I had the day off and headed out to Frozen Head State park with my little sister and her boyfriend. We also brought along her dog Shylo! I was super excited because I absolutely love to photograph this dog! She is part German Shepard and part Husky. I won't ramble on for long though. I just wanted to share some of my photos from the trip. I was sad however that the lighting was horrible for action shots! :( Oh well, still got some good ones in!

Tennessee Valley Fair

Me and Chris went to the TVF today, after of course doing are errands first. We rode many rides that went around in circles. Starting with the swings! I completely forgot that Chris was afraid of heights until we were half way in the air When he started squeezing my hand to death! We also found three little ducks to feed! I was lucky enough to pet one! One of them even bit my thumb trying to jump and get the food from my hand. It reminded me of Ramsey. Right before we left Chris won me a cute little panda!

Flowers are a girls best friend?

Yesterday was an off day for me. I had a bad day at work and for some reason I was grumpy. Chris wasn't home when I finally got Home from work. It depressed me a little bit.  All I wanted was to cuddle in his lap to make my day better. Come to find out he had went grocery shopping. On his grocery shopping trip he picked me up a little something special! Roses! Now, I don't usually like flowers too much, but it made my day. To think he did something so sweet for me! I felt very special. So, I picked out a special "vase" for them!

Frisbee golf!

So.. short blog from my phone. Yesterday was alot of fun. I was able to go see my family and some friends in the ridge.  We has no idea what we wanted to do since we hadn't seen each other in forever. We finally decided to play Frisbee golf. Now, I've never played Frisbee golf, so I was not very good.  It was alot of fun though! Unfortunately I don't have great photos due to the fact it was getting dark and all I had was my phone. But that's ok.

Booms Day!

It's been a minute, but me and Chris attended booms day on Sunday. It was.. well.. not as big of an adventure as i hoped. We had some Cahloun's and Chris waited in line to do a mellow yellow chugging contest. Mellow yellow zero that is.

Yes, he was so bored he tried to eat a water bottle.

While waiting in line I started to get a slight head ache so I decided to sit on a curb to take some medicine out to keep the head ache away. Unfortunately, when I sat on said curb, I got covered in ants. I HATE ANTS!

Anyways, Skyler and Kayla joined us for a bit and we had ice cream in market square. Then finally it was time for the fireworks!

Sorry, my photos don't look much like fireworks because I love to play with the shutter speed on my camera! XP
